Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about boarding with us. Can't find what you're looking for? Just ask.
We recommend bringing your dog's regular food (to avoid stomach upset from a sudden diet change), any medications they need, and a favorite blanket or toy for comfort. We provide bedding, bowls, and plenty of love — so you don't need to pack the whole house! Please label all personal items with your dog's name.
All dogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Proof of vaccination from your veterinarian is required before your dog's first stay. We recommend canine influenza vaccination as well, though it is not required.
Absolutely! We encourage all new clients to schedule a free meet & greet before their dog's first stay. This gives you a chance to tour the facility, meet our team, and let your dog get comfortable with the environment. Call us at 336-529-7211 to schedule yours.
Dogs in our care enjoy multiple outdoor play sessions daily in our spacious, securely fenced yards. We tailor activity levels to each dog's age, breed, and energy level — from gentle strolls for seniors to energetic fetch sessions for high-drive pups. Group play is available for social dogs, while dogs who prefer solo time get one-on-one attention.
Yes! Our team is experienced in administering oral medications, eye drops, ear drops, and topical treatments. Please bring medications in their original containers with clear dosing instructions. There is no additional charge for medication administration. We do not administer injectable medications except insulin for diabetic dogs — please discuss this with us when booking.
We're happy to accommodate special diets, including raw feeding, home-cooked meals, and prescription diets. Just bring the food with clear feeding instructions, and we'll follow your routine exactly. We have refrigerator and freezer space available for perishable items.
We monitor all dogs closely for any signs of illness or injury. If we notice anything concerning, we'll contact you immediately. In an emergency, we'll take your dog to the nearest veterinary clinic while keeping you informed. We collect emergency contact and veterinary preference information during intake so we're always prepared.
Yes! We welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages — from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. Every dog is evaluated individually during the meet & greet to ensure our environment is a good fit. We do not discriminate by breed; we assess each dog based on their own temperament and needs.
We're open 7 days a week by appointment. Drop-off and pick-up times are scheduled in advance to ensure we have staff available to give you and your dog a smooth, unhurried experience. Please call or email to arrange your preferred times.
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holidays and summer months when we fill up quickly. For peak periods (Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break), booking 4-6 weeks in advance is ideal. Last-minute bookings are sometimes available — give us a call and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Our boarding rate includes a clean, climate-controlled kennel, daily outdoor play sessions, fresh water at all times, and 24/7 supervision. You provide your dog's food; we handle the rest. There are no hidden fees — the price we quote is the price you pay. Extended stay and multi-dog discounts are available.
Of course! We know leaving your dog can be hard. Feel free to call or text for updates. We also post photos regularly on our Facebook page so you can see the fun your pup is having. Just let us know if you'd like extra updates and we're happy to oblige.
